Daily Program
Banks Street Kindy offers two Kindergarten class options (each group consisting of a maximum of 22 children):
- Bees: Mon, Tue, Wed (8:30 am -m 4:00 pm)
- Butterflies: Thu, Fri (8:30 am – 4:00 pm)
Our Kindy is open during Queensland State School terms and closes for public
holidays and school holidays.
Bush Kindy Program
During the cooler months of the year, children participate in a Bush Kindy program, exploring the local Banks Street Reserve. Children take a walk through the Reserve encouraged to listen for different animal sounds and observe the different patterns and colours of nature.
These visits provide children with a valuable opportunity to learn all about the plants, animals and other features that make the reserve a special part of the comm unity. Parent volunteers are critical to provide this activity for the children.
